Minions of Evil – TROLLS
Welcome on my blog. Today about Trolls, evil creatures from darkness. Trolls were created, long before First Age, by Morgoth, Trolls where vicious and strong but stupid servants. Those beasts in fact were very use full in combat and some, like Gothmog – Capitan of Balrog’s used them as bodyguards. Their grand weakness was their – mentioned before – stupidity but there was another – they turned into stone when sun light. Bilbo Baggins in Hobbit, encounter them when they wanted to eat him ( they are very funny, this is comic element of this book) - those rolls had their names Tom, Bert and William Huggins ( hmmm Troll with surname..interesting… ) and they argue about how eat Bilbo. They were arguing so long, that the sun come out and they turned into stone…..maybe you remember from movie?there was a scene where Frodo is hurt ( Fellowship of The Rings ) and Sam is telling about them.
Anyway Trolls aren’t so funny. In Lord of The Rings, movie or books they are very dangerous. They were fighting as a main attack force in assault on White City - Minas Tirith. Above i’ve putted screen from the movie.
