Anyway now is to late…

Another thing today is that HarperCollins publish a new book by author J.R.R. Tolkien – “The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun”, edited and introduced by Tolkien’s son Christopher, will be published on 5 May 2009!! I didn’t know that Tolkien actually wrote something like this! Check out this stuff:

“When did J.R.R. Tolkien write The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun?

The previously unpublished work was written while Tolkien was professor of Anglo-Saxon at Oxford University during the 1920s and ’30s, before he wrote The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

Have pieces of this work been published before?

It will be the world first publication of a previously unknown work by J.R.R. Tolkien, which tells the epic story of the Norse hero, Sigurd, the dragon-slayer, the revenge of his wife, Gudrun, and the Fall of the Nibelungs. No part has ever been reproduced or quoted from since it was written over 70 years ago.”

See you again friends!

Lord of the Rings Online – RuneKeeper

•April 22, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Welcome friends! Well, I’m kinda busy now, but I will gladly add few words about another new class available in expansion, Mines of Moria. After Warden, I would like to add something about Rune-keepers. Well they are probably the closest to mages in Lord of the Rings Online, but they aren’t using magic, like fireball attack or fire breath or magic arrow spell ;). Their magic is much more delicate and subtle (everything like in Lord of the Rings books). These Rune-Keepers are quite flexible magic users, their skills can be aggressive (you can play almost like dps class) or defensive (healing and supporting stuff). When you are Rune-keeper you must one type of proficiency, damaging or healing. If you want to change it, you must wait some time, because your Rune-keeper must have more time to be more effective in this proficiency.

(Rune-Keeper)

Anyway this dude can be really great part of every in-game fellowship. If someone smart is playing as Rune-Keeper, your fellowship will be much more effective and safer..well if someone is dumb…well…you know
I’m testing very careful this class and I think it’s very interesting, because it’s very flexible – that’s why I’m not bored ;-)

See you again on Lord of the Rings goldOnline Blog!

Lotro Trial and referral

•March 24, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Welcome friends on Lord of the Rings Online Blog, after longer break. Well, I’m busy man these days so i don’t have much time for anything. Anyway I noticed that guys from Turbine added another trial for Lotro. Now all gamers can play for 10 days for free! Free Trial available in North America, Australia, and New Zealand only. European players already have trial offer of Lord of the Rings Online. http://www.aiononlineqina.com/

Well, I also found that Codemasters is taking a new tack on MMO recruitment program by offering Amazon vouchers worth 5 Euro/Pounds.

The program has been launched almost month ago and is open to all LOTRO gamers who sign up at the referral page of the official site and hand over some friend’s e-mail addresses. For each friend who converts the proffered free trial into a subscription, the original player will get the GBP 5 or EUR 5 voucher for the popular online store. About details you can read here.

Lord of the Rings Online: Warden Class

•November 25, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Hello, today few words about new class from Mines of Moria expansion, Warden. Well Warden is quite interesting class, designed as equivalent of a local town sheriff, Wardens are protectors that specialize in special combination attacks. They can use most powerful skills only when they use special sequence of other skills (some kind of combo system), click. http://www.aionqina.net/

What is interesting, Warden can also attack distant enemies with his javelin, or attack close with his spear. There are a lot of opinions on forums and website about this new class and most of players is saying that class is ok but it ain’t some kinda briliant, easy to play one. Here, you can check out website related to Aion Online.
Well i must check this class out, then i will write something…

LORD OF THE RINGS: NEGATIVE CAMPAIGN ADS

•May 8, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Hi, check out this cool video. Its funny video about Aragorn ;D and his broken promises!

Lol this Aragorn is sure, bad King without any resonable ideas how to help Gondor economy and improve level of education and social help for unemployed. Aragorn is a bad, bad King :p. We can change it. We can do something for our homeland, for our children and our love ones. We can change world with Frodo – new candidate, young with many ideas. Someone can say: Yeah he is young and dump. He don’t even know what this “economy”, but well Mr Arnold from California isn’t somekinda genius and he is ruling richest state…on the edge of bankruptcy..but whatever. I like Frodo so I will vote for him. YES! I’m going to vote on Frodo Baggins!! For our better future!!!

Amen

Lotro blog

Hi there, i want to present fresh Book 13 map!Ive found also something about names, one member of official forum said :

Mûri, Jä and Mâ dont mean anything to me, nor does Taur Orthon.

Its not the first time they have used finnish in the game, almost all of the friendly giants in North Downs and Lonelands have finnish names, the one in LL, Kekkonen, actually was one of our most known presidents
